Frequently asked questions
How accurate is a cash flow forecast?
It is based on the best information available and clear assumptions. It won’t be perfect, but updating it regularly keeps it close to reality and far more useful than guessing.
When are my main tax bills due?
It depends on your business. For example, Corporation Tax is usually due nine months and one day after your company’s year end, and Self Assessment payments are due on 31 January and 31 July. Your forecast includes all of yours.
Will a bank ask for one?
Most lenders want to see a cash flow forecast before agreeing a loan or overdraft. We can prepare it to the standard they expect.
Can I update it myself?
Yes. We can build it in a format you can update, or keep it up to date for you.
